If you wish to become a resident at St Wilfrid’s you should apply in writing, via email to the Sister Superior or the Registered Care Manager, or download an application form, giving details of your present circumstances. You will then be invited to visit and given an opportunity to have a comprehensive tour of St Wilfrid’s. Normally, as a prospective resident, you will have a short trial period to make sure that St Wilfrid’s meets your needs. We will require medical information about your general state of health as St Wilfrid’s is a residential home and our residents must have a certain level of mobility.

Before admission, the financial implications of residency at St Wilfrid’s are fully discussed. Fees should be settled monthly in advance. These cover all costs except for items of personal expenditure. Fees are reviewed annually by the Advisory Committee.

St Wilfrid’s accepts applications from both the local authority or privately funded residents.
